Jeremy Cosby: With more than 15 years of experience in technology-focused roles, Jeremy Cosby specializes in pricing analysis and management. He assists clients with the evaluation and implementation of business systems to improve efficiencies and enhance decision-making. Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Taylor University.
In previous roles, Jeremy was responsible for the review and oversight of pricing development, cost of sales reporting, and a wide range of financial analyses, including budgeting and forecasting. His work has included government contracting and pricing audits. Jeremy has also provided direction and training to a team of financial analysts to ensure company needs were being fully supported.
With his focus on technology to solve business problems, Jeremy supports Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation and integration, pricing development, and can develop custom solutions tailored to specific needs.
Dennis Loughlin: Dennis Loughlin is a Warner partner and bankruptcy attorney who focuses his practices on general corporate law, distressed auto supply and counseling secured and unsecured creditors across the U.S. in all phases of restructuring and insolvency proceedings, creditors’ rights and commercial disputes. His insolvency experience includes traditional bankruptcy work, but also receiverships and out-of-court loan workouts, and he has particular experience with these issues as they relate to Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS). Clients know Dennis to be a problem solver and appreciate his direct and practical approach.
With a proficiency in the Michigan Special Tool Lien Act and the Michigan Mold Lien Act, Dennis represents parties in disputes under these Acts in both bankruptcy and state courts, and lectures regularly on these topics. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to the area of distressed auto supply. “The strategic considerations in distressed auto supply cases are very different from those of other industries,” Dennis explains, “because of how complex the supply chain is and the consequences of potentially shutting down a production line. If attorneys are merely dabbling in this space, they may quickly find the formula that they are accustomed to applying quickly gets thrown out on its ear.”
As many clients do not have a dedicated in-house chief legal officer, Dennis is regularly called upon to serve as “outside general counsel” for corporate entities across numerous industries – including auto supply, information technology, quality control and craft brewing. Part of this role entails serving as clients’ first call on issues, acting as the quarterback in order to find the right Warner colleagues in other specialty areas, as needed.
“Before COVID and afterward, a number of industries have been facing pressures, for example, in the areas of raw material price increases, interest rate hikes and tariffs,” Dennis adds. “Thanks to government stimulus assistance, the impact of some of that was delayed – but given persistent inflationary pressures, we will undoubtedly see higher levels of distress and defaults than we’ve recently experienced. Our team at Warner is ready to help our clients respond."
Marcel Zondag: Dr. Marcel M. Zondag is an associate professor of marketing and the director of both the Supply Chain Management program and the Food Industry Research and Education Center at Western Michigan University. Zondag is also a visiting professor at the Institute for Marketing and Service Research at the University of Rostock, Germany. He earned a J.D. from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and MBA and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Tennessee.
Before entering academia, Zondag worked for 22 years in the aerospace and defense industry in different senior management positions in Europe, Asia and North America. His research focuses on demand and supply integration, omnichannel retail marketing, shopper loyalty, and supply chain management in the food value chain.
Zondag teaches graduate courses in food marketing, global business management and supply chain management. He is a regular presenter at academic and industry conferences and consults with different organizations on enhanced customer experience management, sales management and in-store execution, the so-called “last 100 yards of the food and consumer package goods supply chain.”
