Helping a Theatre Rise from the Ashes | The Story of Phoenix Theatre Woodland Mall

Covid and the changing retail climate had taken a toll on the Celebration Cinema Woodland location. After closing permanently, the theatre sat vacant with molding interior, extensive roof damage and few prospects for reopening.

Enter Cory Jacobson (Owner of Phoenix Theatres and Progressive Cinema Solutions) and Jordan Hohman (Project Development). No stranger to turnarounds, Cory and Jordan specialize in helping closed theatres "rise from the ashes". Not only do they remake theatres, they bring profits. Currently this Farmington Hills based company has 6 locations, and more in the works. After a $4.5 million dollar renovation, Phoenix Theatre Woodland Mall was re-born. You won't want to miss exciting turnaround story.

Enjoy networking, drinks, appetizers and live music- along with a complimentary screening of Top Gun Maverick featuring the theatre's signature sound system, Dolby Atmos.
