Join us for this a panel featuring 3 industry experts, each with 30+ years of experience. Wondering how the workplace has changed in the last 4 decades? What this industry was like without cell phones or computers? Before there was a movement for gender equality? You won't want to miss this opportunity to hear stories and lessons learned. Elisabeth Von Eitzen (Warner Norcross + Judd LLP)
Elisabeth M. Von Eitzen is a partner with Warner Norcross + Judd LLP. She focuses her practice in the areas of creditors' rights, bankruptcy, and commercial and real estate litigation. Liz regularly represents financial institutions in loan restructurings, loan enforcement through litigation, foreclosure proceedings, postjudgment collection efforts, and bankruptcy matters. She also represents debtors in complex chapter 11 proceedings and trustees in commercial and consumer bankruptcy proceedings under Chapter 7.  Her real estate litigation experience includes judicial foreclosure actions, litigating cases involving fraudulent transfers, landlord-tenant matters, and receiverships (including representing receivers as well as assisting creditors in obtaining the appointment of commercial and residential receivers). She is a former Board President of the TMA West Michigan Chapter.

Terry Bowersox (Great Lakes Business Credit)
Terry Bowersox has more than 50 years of experience in the commercial banking and leasing field. Beginning in 1972, Terry took his first banking job at M & I Bank of Milwaukee in their equipment leasing subsidiary. Covering Michigan and Indiana until 1996, when he transition into the asset based lending world. Terry has since served as a Vice President at Crestmark Bank and is currently a Business Development Specialist for Great Lakes Business Credit. He specializes in business development, networking and making clients feel comfortable with alternative lending solutions.



Doris Drain 
(United Bank)
 
Doris Drain is a Senior Vice President for Commercial Lending at United Bank of Michigan in Grand Rapids, MI. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University in 1982.  Doris spent three years with Dun & Bradstreet in Grand Rapids as a commercial credit reporter, writing business credit reports on local companies.   She has been with United Bank since 1986 and has assisted local companies on behalf of the Bank, helping them to meet their financing needs. 


Louann Kohlbeck
 (Independent Marketing Associates, Inc.)
Louann Kohlbeck is President of Independent Marketing Associates, Inc. (aka IMA), a sales firm she started in 1988 after 4 years of sales work for Mattel and 4 years of work in Sales and Merchandising for the J.L. Hudson Company.  IMA represents roughly 15 vendors of housewares who manufacture and/or import to sell to the mass and specialty independent retail trade.  Louann’s strengths are communication, organization, and creative problem-solving.
